Ophthalmology Appointment Yesterday

Yesterday Bevin went in for her quarterly Ophthalmology appointment with Dr. Ruben (who is great) and she was fully cooperative (the first few appointments she would not let him exam her eyes!).

Everything looks good, eyes are clear and we go back in 3-4 months to do it all over again! J

  1. Wow, I was surfing the net looking at recent info on JRA and happened on your blog. My daughter was diagnosed with Pauciarticular Arthritis at the age of 2 1/2. Seeing your blog and pics of Bevin brought me right back to the day she was diagnosed. I am happy to say she is 25 now and although she is still dealing with the arthritis, she has been able to lead a pretty normal life. We had many, many visits to the ophthalmologist (she still does). Seeing Bevin in that chair was like deja vu! Wishing you all the best and thanks for bringing awareness to this "silent" disease. Loved you pics on FB too! Will keep you and the family in my prayers.

  2. Cataract treatment is a typical approach in ophthalmology. When the external contact of a individuals eye commences to get dark, there is regularly some type of viewpoint loss.
